 Good morning, everyone. Today, I want to talk about government corruption. Corruption happens when people in power, like politicians or leaders, use their position for personal gain. This means they may take bribes, steal public money, or give unfair advantages to their friends or family. For example, instead of choosing the best person for a job, they might choose someone just because they know them. Hi! My name is Thomas and I was born on an indian reservation in Okarche Oklahoma during the  last years of what is called the Baby boomer generation .  As a child, my life was not so wonderful . My mother and father had 6 children and when I was 7, my dad decided that he didn’t want to be a dad any more. Yea, we were poor, so poor that I sometimes had to eat peanut butter4 for dinner and didn’t see my mom nearly as much as I would have liked to. She seemed always to be working or driving my other brothers and sisters to gymnastics practice.
